2008 Autumn Assembly: October 10-12 at Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center, Wisconsin Dells

The 2008 Autumn Assembly will be hosted by the Four Lakes Group, at Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center on the Wisconsin River in the Wisconsin Dells from October 10-12 2008.

On Saturday evening guests will enjoy listening to bluegrass music, bidding on unique silent auction items generously donated by small businesses, attending our awards dinner, and hearing a keynote speech by inspiring author and traveler Eric Hansen. In addition to participating in environmental activism, Hansen has contributed regularly to Backpacker magazine and written guidebooks on hiking in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Other highlights of this year's Autumn Assembly include an opportunity to tour the Aldo Leopold Legacy Reserve, a chance to hear about local effects of climate change with UW Emeritus Limnology Professor, John Magnuson, a discussion on how money and politics affect our environment with Mike McCabe from the WI Democracy Campaign, a tour of the International Crane Foundation, and much more!

See below for the complete schedule and registration form, and contact Don Ferber at (608) 222-9376 or d_ferber@sbcglobal.net if you have any questions. Hope to see you there!
