The Sierra Club is one of the oldest and largest grass roots environmental organizations in the United States. The Great Waters Group represents members from Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha, and the southern part of Washington County and the group is run by its members as volunteers. Sierra Club's Mission: "To Explore, Enjoy, and Protect the wild places on earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; And to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives". Helping the Planet by Volunteering - The Sierra Club's dedicated volunteers and grassroots activists make your dollars go further.
